Thoughts and feelings on today.

So today I had the thought to Google What is Mormon? Just to see what people saw when they looked us up. Let me tell you. It wasn't pretty. I mean, sure, there were some websites that had the general  idea, but then some that were absolutely heart breaking. People were saying that we weren't Christian. It said,
""Is Mormonism Christian?" The answer is simple.  No. Mormonism is not Christian.
"If you are a Mormon, please realize that ... is not trying to attack you, your character, or the sincerity of your belief.  If you are a non-Mormon looking into Mormonism, or if you are a Christian who is simply researching Mormonism, then this article should be of help."
If it wasn't trying to attack our belief, then what? The entire article was doing the exact opposite of what it said it wasn't trying to do... I don't understand.
I'm really sorry if htis post is beginning to sound whiny, or rude, I am kinda jsut venting.
I honestly don't know why so much of this world hates Mormons. I am a Mormon, I am proud of it. I can promise everyone that I don't have horns! :) I am a human, with beliefs that I believe to be true.
I know with a surety that Jesus is the Christ. I know that God, and Jesus Christ live. I know that Joseph Smith restored this gospel, and that he was a prophet of God. I know that this is the true church. I love this gospel. I am so grateful for it. I wouldn't give it up for the world. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Come unto Christ By Emily

{These things I have spoken unto you, that ye in me might have peace, In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world}  (John 16:33)

I love this scripture because to me it's saying that in the world you will have tribulation but be at peace, Christ went though everything you are going through. I went through everything anyone could ever face. Because of this He can help you through your trials. When trails hit He will help you carry your burden and make you burdens a little lighter. Come unto Him and He will help you with whatever you are going through. Another scripture I like that has to do with this is Matthew 11:28-30.

" Come unto me, all who labour  and are heavy laden, and I will give rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall fin rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

I also love this one because I talks about how if you come unto or learn of Christ he will give you rest. Which means in times of need you will be able to get through those trials you are going through. You will have inner peace. He wants to help you. He died so He could help you.

I know God and our Savior love you. In tribulation they will give you rest. They are always there for you, and wants you to be happy. I'm grateful for they're grace. They will help you. In the name of our Savior Jesus Christ, Amen
